Quick and probably dumb question but should the pinion have any play or is that a sign of a bad bearing? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Why is unsprung weight a bad thing? and I'm not planning on rock crawling either I just thought the extra security would be nice just in case.

    M1078 being useful ....

I work shipping in a factory with electric tow motors and we usually get stuck once a week out side. We just hook a chain to my Cucv and pull them out no problem, pretty sure I wouldn't been able to budge that one tho, nice job.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Hauled some old fence posts today. Ran across a scale near my house and it read 8720 lbs truck was barely squated, some may say cruel and unusual punishment for not winning MV of the month, I say a good workout (for me and the truck).

All of my gear including the one spare will be in the bed until the space is needed then tire, jack and whatever else I have can be throne on the roof, this way it'll all be locked up and out of the elements most of the time. I also plan on doing rock sliders, can they be bought for these trucks...
