A followup to this post, I've discovered it wasn't a diesel leak, but it was copious amounts of power steering fluid from the quick disconnect hose located at the radiator fan clutch. The fan conveniently sprayed the fluid all over the engine. :(

I've purchased 2 HMMWV's from Gov Planet and wound up calling for updates on both, twice. Don't bother emailing as they don't respond. Always give them a call. The phone rep's were always helpful and considerate as long as you aren't a d**k.
I found a bunch o used blanks in my M1114 and a smashed up writing pen with German writing all over it.
All said and done, I'd rather have found a winch controller.

If you remove it, you don't have to worry about a check engine light from the oxygen sensor since there's no oxygen sensor. There's no check engine light either. :p

Does your truck have a 3-speed or 4-speed transmission? Generally speaking M998s are 3-speed and 1097a2's are 4-speed. Granted, there's a lot of examples of trucks that were modified so it's not 100% accurate.
Looks like it has the deep water fording kit, so plan on buying a CDR valve.
Also might be missing some parts that connect the intake air stack to the air filter. If it is, I recommend replacing it with the M1123 setup which uses a rubber hose and clamps from the pipe, directly to the air...
