Truck part # CK2000 for $629 and the M1009 part # for $944. Both are 15000 BTU and 290 CFM. I think that I would go with the cheaper option, unless there is a differance that I am missing.

DH, I am considering doing the same lift /tires as well. Anxious to see how this truck performs off road. I want to make sure that no rubbing will occur. Let us know how it goes.
Great looking truck MTJ. The flat bed looks great and somthing that I may end up with one day. They are a lot more functional loading and unloading than the standard bed.
Is your bed set up with a goose neck hitch? Where did you get the bed dimension specs etc?

My windshield is cracked and needs to be replaced in my 85 M1008. I have found a 78 Chevy truck cab with good front glass. It also has a rear sliding glass which could be helpful as it gets warmer. I'm not interested in financing the repair with my insurance, so I want to do most of the work...

Mine came from the Ga Forestry Service as well. My door stickers have been removed. I still have the front red bow tie as well. It's been a good truck and given me no trouble.
