Seems to me the GM Medium Duty Truck master cylinder Marcus mentioned would be a simpler and cheaper solution, although I'm sure you'd need to fab up a mounting adapter and push rod. Anyone have any info on the M/C? Marcus, are you still watching this post, any comments?

RE your alternator: 1. Find a shop in your area and have your alternator rebuilt. If you can't find a specialty rebuild shop, most auto parts stores can send them out for rebuild. 2. Check Ebay. Search for "military truck", "generator" and "alternator". There are several, I saw a BRAND NEW one...

Eric - 105" for me. The stack removes in about two minutes using a pair of 1/2" wrenches. Pop off the soft top and you're down to about 93" to the top of the windshield frame. Good luck with your two new Deuces, you lucky dog. Next you'll probably want a M108 wrecker, just in case one breaks...
