Brentzilla, it is real easy to put locking door handles on. I bought one set over a year ago, and two more sets this week. All 3 are keyed alike, so one key gets me into all 3 trucks!
Good luck on getting her running.
No one really owns the name of a truck in my opinion. A recent vet came by yesterday while I was working on the old girl and I offered him a ride.
"No way! I rode in them enough this lifetime!"
Most are anxious to jump in though. :)
In total it is fairly easy. New seals in the PTO are usually a good idea, lots of other tips and tricks in past posts.
Here is one:

Sounds like the heater intake. If so it is just a knock-out and you would have to fabricate a replacement.
ETA are you referring to the 2 holes shown in this photo?
There is a little switch added to the e-brake handle. What is it wired to?
Did engine oil, filter, fuel filter, tran fluid and filter yesterday. The list is getting a little shorter.
A ground rod is important. You would wire your load to the box on the side, but it does have 2 convenience outlets on the front. They seem to be good for 1000 watts or so on a good day.
Here is a pic of the MEP 003A panel, it is a 10KW whereas the 002A is 5. I think the wiring box is similar...
It is Dot 5, it just looses color with use. You can buy it surplus by the gallon, $30-50 per gal.
Did you bleed it? Several threads on "how to"
I re-read that you got fluid out of the wheel cylinders so you must have bled it, but it still sounds like air in the lines. Good luck
My meds just allow me to kill time. :)
On mine the tires looked OK (except for one) but when I tire gauged them only 1 had 50, another 30 and the others didn't move the tire gauge at all. Def. plan on a gladhand hose. BTW mine had a hose in the toolbox, now I got two!
