Also today I located the rear sway bar, overload springs and associated hardware, along with another Dana 70 (some pieces missing but good carrier) so I think I have all the missing pieces now. I need a good 6.2 to swap in, to replace the blown head gasket engine in the truck now....
Upon further review.....
Pink/Blk is actually Black/Negative and a Pink is Positive and they supply power to the transfer valve via the dash switch. The fuel gauge shifts as it should to reflect levels in each tank, SWEET!
Now all I need to do is replace the 6.2 blown head gasket engine in...
4 total, green/light green these 2 go back to the transfer valve, the other 2 aforementioned wires go into the harness under the dash on a factory equipped dual tank truck. I'm going back to the junkyard on monday to scope out the destination of the pink/blk and pink wires in the truck I removed...
Does anyone have a mid-80's Chevy P/U with dual tanks?, I need to know where the Pink, and Pink/Black wire's from the transfer switch on the dash go.......:?:
I have a 1028A3, purchased from GSA last year. Before it was auctioned the fuel tank selector switch and associated wiring was "removed" I have located the pieces needed to make it right but I can't figure out where 2 of the four wires go.... (pink and black) None of my manuals show a dual tank...
Looks like the pinion nut backed off and let the pinion move back into contact with the carrier. Wow was a manual tranny even an option in a blazer in 88...Or does it look homebrew?
Which transfercase does it have? 208?
WOW, so unless you told them (ethics officer) you were a member here, they (government) have been monitoring your intenet activity, down to IP addresses, sites visited, and screen names?.... for no other reason other than one of your duties is contracting officer? Wouldn't a warrant be required...
Roger that Clinto, I'm done here, I was trying to point out that he cleaned up his intitial post and then asked a couple of questions. And now you attack me for an example of a deleted thread because a couple of people got out of hand with their replies......
My thread was informational about...
Mike, he did that after the original post was deleted.
I had a thread deleted about an increase in the Federal fuel tax moving through congress, because of a couple of crazy posts.....
Were any built W/W and if so what is the NSN?, or were they (winches) add on's at the unit level?
There was a spotters guide somewhere, but I can't find it now....
I hate it when my plugs swell and bubble.....
BUT, the AC60G's are SUPPOSED to be non-swelling... fwiw
BUT, they also are not made for the CUCV GP system in it's stock form...
