On both covers, the corrosion formed at the top of the cover, possibly where an airpocket existed. I'm going to check the rest of my trucks for oxidation bubbling up on the top outside of the cooler cover. . .
Was working on sgtrisk's Deuce this morning to replace the oil cooler cover with a hole in it. Decided to take a cover off another motor (LDT-465-1D) and found this:

Picked up Sgtrisk's Deuce in High Rolls NM today. Talk about a whiteknucle decent from 7000ft, down to 4300, in 8 miles or so of 6% + grade. . .
Pulled off 3 times to let the happy folks with the one finger salute's go by. . .:roll:

Don't know, HOPING for a 700R4, and all the associated brackets :twisted:, I have a built 700R4 from Bowtie Overdrives that would fit nicely in the 1028!

I picked this up today at Kirtland, something in a couple of the pics caught my eye, :-D I can only hope it's not mileage plus 100k..... :|
The Motor is going in my 1028A3, and the rest. . . maybe a BBC to take the 6.2's place?
