just took some time to read this thread almost front to back and I am new to the 5-ton world and i am thinking about purchasing one. more than likely a m818. I will prob do this mod. this might be a dumb question but would a turbo from a deuce work on this application?

looking for a 5-ton tractor to pull a cattle trailer and 42ft van tailer loaded with shavings. should i go with the m818 or something else. do they have enough power since they dont have a turbo? what do you all think?

Hey just what the questions says. Is it even safe to engage the front end while the truck is in motion? I have never tried but i have wanted to before. what do you all know about it?

only one spare pump and i guess i'll leave it alone... do you all know of a filter that will fit in the final canister that is less than 6 microns?

I didn't think the pump would handle it either I just wanted to hear what some others had to say. How did it work for you? did you have any trouble?

What about taking the filtering system from a parts deauce and useing for the filter setup. They should be readily available. The filters are a 10->6->6 micron rating. all that would be needed would be a pump and a tank. The deuce fuel tank and pump should be easy access as well. Just my 2...

I haven't changed my filters yet with the screw on application becaue they have only been on a couple of months. I do know that the anti drain back hold back some oil but not nearly all of it. I also know that i punch a hole in the filters after i get them off of my other vehicles so the oil can...
