I was at Ft Lewis when we turned these in in the mid-80s. We busted our butts at the company level getting them ready to turn in (we had around 35 but could only get them in good enough condition to turn in 30 by scavenging from the others). To see them destroyed after all that work was pretty...
This is currently on the DRMO side just sitting. I was told IF it transferred over to GL it would be as Mutilation Required unless it was bought by a verifiable museum. Parts would be allowed to be removed but the tub would have to be shredded for anyone else.
I purchased a "color coded" wiring harness from Sid Beck before he passed away and am just getting to the point of installing it. In the interim 2 years I appear to have lost the sheet that outlined what colors went to what items. Anyone have a copy of this? I tried the g741 site but it...
Looks nice. It appears that it used to have the door mounted spare tire carrier. There are pros and cons to that but I personally think the "cool" factor weighs more for having it than not.
I think you could have simply said, "no there are active auctions that are requiring the EUC."
My statement was based on discussions with a GL site manager that said they were no longer required for 3/4 tons. I don't troll all of GL sites looking to verify what one of their employees tell me.

I was one of those hated claims adjusters that everybody complains about. If I had a LKQ...

Did you wind up getting the M37? If so, we need PICTURES!
The late Sid Beck, M37 guru here in TX, used to make buying trips to Greece for parts. Since we sold/gave so many of them to the Greek government they started replicating some of the parts themselves. I purchased a Greek color...
TX Pride is saying "I made it and YOU got stuck (or YOU tested blah, blah, blah)."
It's also a BBQ joint on Route 1604 south of San Antonio http://www.texaspridebbq.net/
I was more concerned about him embarrassing the rest of us Texans by getting stuck in the first place. We'll make exceptions, of course. If Gimpy wants to move to TX we'll curse anyone that brings up his unfortunate tire orientation in future threads.
I know this is an old thread but...
I've spent most of the last 2 days removing what I thought was undercoating but now am more inclined to believe was road tar from the front end parts I'm going to replace on the wife's M37. Most of that time was simply with a putty knife then sanding what...
