Wonderful news Congrats. I know they make a lot more now than they did when we had our first child. I made him some using laundry markers and we made it in the Post paper one week as the photographer saw me carrying him in his camo outfit and I had applied camo to his face too. Guess that is...
My Dad died from liver cancer that was latently triggered by the Malaria he caught while fighting in the Philippines during WW II. I will add him to the Chaplains corner and keep him in my prayers as well. I hope John is doing well and that his business prospers too.
I am hoping that mine did not get forked over by GL... the passenger door is about all that is dented and the truck looks to be in pretty good shape. All of you who asked about the manuals please check your inbox. How far are you from Balitmore in WV?
RE: Info for buying
Emando22 has one and so do a few others here You might want to retitle your thread with HMMWV in it . Welcome to the site you will find it a favorite place to spend time.
RE: Re: RE: Marker light problems on Museum
Welcome to the site you will find so many friends here and tons of help. I used to live in Sturgeon Bay and have friends near you still. Hope to see you on the site often.
RE: Pilot stop works for me . . .
With two of my sisters and Mom who used to live in Mass I know the best time for running through NYC is about 0300 I am not sure of your route down from Mass but it might be 95 to 80 and down.
It looks like a unit equipment GBL shipment the thing is most of those should have been stay behind equipment. I found units trying to ship home Gators all the time and if they got them out of theater it means they slipped past watchful eyes and will be going to the unit only to be declared...
Welcome to the Steel Soldiers Family.
You will find an M1008 to be an amazing truck. I too have GM roots and find that if you treat them right they give you your moneys worth. I live just south of you but am currently on a deployment about 9,000 miles away. I hope that you think about...
RE: Re: RE: Deuce and 5 ton in Georgia combat zone
One Guy for sure is wearing an ACU top They look pretty much like they overpowered the Georgian Soldiers that one picture showed a LAW rocket that is for sure US armament. I think this is reminisant of Hitlers Soldiers running over Poland or...
Thanks that other thead had a lot of good information on it. I also found all of the manuals they were on the restricted side of the LOGSA site so I can not release them on the web. If someone needs a copy I could burn a CD of them and send them as long as they are not terrorists or enemies of...
RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: M127
The original side boards on these trailers was very dense mahogany. I have a few of those on my trailer and years ago at the DRMO in Fort Hood we got a few of them and made some nice furnature out of the boards.
I do like the idea of a four by four but he got this one pretty cheap since it needed front shocks and control arms I just bought some on line and they should have it ready when I get home.
My Rokon is able to go anywhere and more than any four wheeler can go but like you Kenny it gets a...
RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: M127
David:
You can find out a lot about that trailer using the DODAAC which stands for Department of Defense Activity Address Code Each unit has a unique one and the equipment is tracked by that code. It sure is nice to have a wrecker to set those...
I am surprized no one asked about stepping on the GAS versus stepping on the throttle or acellerator. You do have fresh diesel in it right? I would look at pressurizing the tank with a rag in the filler and an air hose running about ten pounds of air pressure and have a friend try to start it...
RE: OFFICIAL RC RALLY 08
I can't say my sons wiil be there on Friday before they get off work or out of school plus I am hoping that they will first swing over to Johnfire's place to pick up my M1031 contact truck before heading up. I am hoping the EUC is done in time for this to happen. John...
Gotta love donuts in the snow! I can hardly wait to ride this one when I get home and want to Army it up soon as well
I really liked the ones on the trailer I bet they are for SF guys or on the way to GL ?
Very Nice I don't think I have that much nice paint on all of my vehicles combined! I have a lot of work to do. It will look sweet behind any military vehicle.
I know it is not the one I would have bought but he got a great deal on it and we are going to Up Army it when I get home or if he has the time he will start on it before I get home. That looks like a lot of fun in the back of the duece. I am thinking of using our M332 for a carrier.
