There was really a light turn out of vendors at the swap meet this year. The monsoon and having a weasel pull people out of the mud last year may have turned some folks off. Still it was worth the trip and a lot of cool armor sitting around. Pawnshop was there and usually takes excellent...

After 2 days in the sun with one to go I'll have to reassess my ability to make the rally. I wasnt expecting 85 degree days when I planned this trip.

Swap meet is pretty thin so far. Haven't seen any deuce stuff other than mine yet. Hopefully more will start rolling in this evening.

Looks like a nice set and a decent price. They are extremely handy if you trawl the local GL yards since most everything there has dead batteries.

Looks like the price just got "righter." The mass flooding of the market with reinforcement plates is setting much lower prices in the classifieds. Of course one on a more public "auction" site is listed at $150.

Me too! I started out on Slick 60s (well actually started out on foot in Infantry), moved to M60A3s and finally to M1s. Amazing in how short a period of time you could go from a Model T to a Coupe De Ville.

I think he was referring to Desert Storm (although he said OIF1) and then commented on Clinton cutting stuff. They were still using the M60 chasis CEVs then even though the Armor units had M1IPs and M1A1s.
