11.0-20 NDTs on a deuce, good idea?

I think they look alot better on 11X20s, and I put the NDTs the forestry service had on my M211 onto my M35. I seemed to get better MPG and top speed, but it may have been just me. I did have the truck turned up slightly and could get 65mph (gps reading) at 2600 rpm. I would love to get the...

What collection pump should I get for WMO?

That's too cool Good Idea! I collect WVO, I bet if I put a strainer in the suction line to keep the fries out, it would work for me too. Don't have a buffalo, but I could put a tank on an M105 or M101 frame...

    Area around Ft Jackson?

basset, no one around here can pick it up for you? I'm picking up Gearspec's deuce today. If you have to have it towed than MitchG's place is closer than mine, also closer to FL than my spread.

Sign up for the East Coast Convoy 2009!

I've saved 100gal of veg oil just for aberdeen, so I MAY be able to make it again this year, in my 'new' M109. Plus the locomotives here at work all need oil changes, and I offered to 'dispose' of it for them :-D That would be another 200gal or so...

    Optima Battery - Which One?

In 2000, I was stationed aboard the USS Stump (quit laughing) in Norfolk, VA. We used Optimas in our RHIB (rigid hull inflatable boat) Well, some moron tied it up between the ship and the pier, and the wind got bad that night... So we smashed the RHIB up pretty good. Two Optimas sat under...

    Wood Gasification

I'm going to convert a deuce one day to a 'true' multifuel, Steam!!!;-) Found a 200hp 1000rpm engine, and a boiler that will handle it and burn solids, liquids and gasses, just need to find the money to put it all together!:driver: I have personally seen and ridden in an old school bus that...

Lost part of my finger yesterday, safety reminder

Man, very sorry to hear about that. Severel guys at the mill have lost fingers right in front of me and it's not a pretty sight. I almost lost my right hand just two weeks before I was to leave for Navy boot camp. We were re-railing a caboose, and I was moving a re-railing tool in front of one...

    In need of wiring harness

That sucks! I've had several things go 'missing' on trucks when I finally went to pick them up. I got a M109 from Lejeune and drove my M35 all the way there 'just in case' Good thing I did, some @#$!# stole the front cap and return line off the front injector, and the batteries and battery case...

    Need Deuce Alternator

I've had 3 alternators die on me, (not from the same truck) and everytime I take them to a shop they say they can no longer get the regulator for them. Timntrucks has take off gens for $100 or so. Great service too.
