Bridgewater, ME to Columbia, SC with stops

Bridgewater, aparently due north of Bangor. Close to the border. Like, close enough to walk to Canada from there. I think towards the east.

Bridgewater, ME to Columbia, SC with stops

Hey Guys, I know I haven't been here much. I wish I could be, I miss it. Just thought if you want I will be taking the train to Maine on Thursday, then renting a 12' penske truck to haul a bedroom set for my Mother in law from almost the Canadian border back to Norfolk VA, then I'm driving my...

    Head light problem

Proper installation of an electronic light switch- carry to trash can, drop. Job done. I personally hate them. Both of the ones I had go out on me were electronic, and before the one went out it would trip if I had a trailer plugged in, it wouldn't even handle the 2 extra lights. Hard to use...

    Head light problem

Ground? could be something with the switch, swap it out and see what happens. If you have a spare. Which you should. If you don't, ask Santa for one. They are handy to have. I've had two go out on me over the years.

    M35 Mine Protected Vehicle

hmm, after taking another look it does seem that the cab is Veed, with a blast vent above the ladder under the door. Very neat to say the least. Does this mean they will start shipping M35s over to Iraq and quite selling them here? NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    M35 Mine Protected Vehicle

I don't know if you could it fit the engine and radiator in the normal hood, even if you moved the firewall back. Unless they used a different radiator, maybe a thicker core. Very interesting! I noticed that the bed has a sloped floor, but the cab is still woefully open to underside blasts...

    M35A2 Sound Deadening Project

I have an exhaust diverter I got out of an M49 tanker from Cranetruck, and am planning to run the normal stack, and then run a pipe to the rear tandums, so on long trips, I can pull a cable and the exhaust is routed out the back, and on short trips or parades and the like I can run it up the...

24v spotlight like those found on bridge trucks, wreckers

I sure would have dove in that dumpster! I did it all the time in the Navy, you wouldn't believe what they just throw out! Most of the time it never made it to the dumpster on the pier, we would get 12miles out, and *SPLASH*

    Staging area near Columbia, SC

I know Tim and Kevin, They aren't the ones pushing the two week deal, not even GL. It is DRMO that is making that rule. I have known them awhile and they couldn't help me keep my M109 any longer than the 2 weeks. I have a towbar with the axle clamps, and hoses to rig the air brakes if you need...

    Toys for Tots

Wow, that's my old truck! I'm ashamed of myself, I had her almost 2 years, you have it a month and have done all that! WOW! She definitely went to a better home. Sorry, I just had to say something about it. Anything going on in SC for Toys for Tots? I am willing to help, I have a M109 still.

Deuce age, or how old is it really?

Most deuces are 1950-2008 vintage, in one part or another. My truck is a 1967, with a 1988 tranny, 1978 transfer case, and a 1984 engine.

    Putting a deuce bed on a M818?

    Mudding in the M109

Ok, let me try this again. Here is a link to the video of me in the M109 the first time, didn't get the gearing right and at the end I got stuck in the super truck's ruts that went in front of me. But I had to stop half way to change gears, and I got going from a standstill, so I guess I didn't...

    Mudding in the M109

Hey Guys, I went mudding in my new M109 today, didn't make it the first time, didn't have my gears figured out. But made it the second time, and even forgot to engage the front axle! No video of the second trip, but one of me missing the first one. Used the truck as a viewing platform for...

    M35 Operating temp??

My truck just started doing this yesterday, the temp was fine on the way up to VA, then it started to creep up, very slow. it got to 240 and I pulled over. The upper part of the radiator is hot like it should be, and the bottom was cooler. I figured it was the thermostat sticking. Took it out...

    Those in the drive-it-out club

Hey Guys, don't forget about me crashing into that DRMO warehouse when I picked up my first truck. Old site, post 10181:oops: I don't drive anything off anymore. It could have been really bad if someone had been on the other side of the wall.

    Standard upgrades

I would have to say auto transmission... No, just kidding, wanted to get Clinto's blood pressure up  I like the air hose reel as well. Duel brake system. air AND electric horn. My air horn stopped working once, right when I needed it to warn some tiny car that pulled out right in...
