You have to have both cables, if you cut the circuit you won't have any voltage. You can't change from 24 to 12 unless you added some sort of 3rd wire and connection and hooked to just one battery.
I have a 1971 AMgeneral on single 11x20 NDT, turned up a little, pyrometer, bed vinal is for a 5ton, runs good. $2000. I maybe able to get it halfway to you if you want.
Freight Train,
I'm still bringing your heater and flue pipe.
Kenny, I have the drop side corners with fiberglass uprights on my deuce, I'll trade ya if you need them.
Sorry, we lost our camera at Carowinds (theme park) not to long ago and haven't had the spare funds to get another one, so no pics of the change out. I don't have my TM disc with me either, as I'm up in Norfolk visiting.
It wasn't hard, the 6 injector lines, and then 4 bolts holding it down.
I've seen too much good stuff go into the furnace at work.
I really have a Moral dilemma working there...
Good thing I can buy stuff out of the yard for $.08 a pound! But I can't save it all, the Mexican cutters get there before I do 90% of the time.
Great save by the way!
    aua
Great job Brandon. That makes two trucks I've sold you that you got started in short order. I could have gotten double if they ran. Now I'll never sell anything without trying to get it running first!!!!
Hey 98hd,
I have the exact same issue with my deuce. Down to the letter. Your not going to like what it was though...
It's my hydraulic head on my IP pump, worn out pretty bad. That's the round tuna can sized disc on top of the IP pump with 6 injector lines coming out of it. not to hard to...
Saved? what did you think I was going to do, cut her up? sheesss... :cookoo:
Trust me, I would have kept her if I could, she's in excellent shape and Brandon got a great truck. I'm glad she'll be well taken care of.
RE: Re: What is your idea of M109 prices
Hmm, I paid $2200 for one at Lejeune(sp), which had a brand new (well, 1986) motor, new tires, and would have driven it home to SC but someone stole the #1 injector cap and return line off it. The other one I got from Jackson for $1800, and it has duel...
I agree, that type of thread would just be bad for everyone, and do nothing to further our hobby.
Plus, Kenny is the guru of MVs it seems, and is a very respectable individual as well. And helpful as all get out.
What happened? What did I miss? Kenny, I think it may have been you that called last week, I got a Florida number but the message was all garbled, I wasn't sure who it was so I didn't call back, sorry if it was you.
Hmmm.. I like all the suggestions. Kenny, I was debating on making this a cargo, but with all the trucks coming up, I could just get ANOTHER M35...
You can hide a lot of trucks on 62 acres. I could just drive it back in the woods as far as it will go, then go walking with her in a few months...
Problem is, I already have a M109... so the camper thing might be out.
Lifer, move to SC and I'll let you use it, and you can tow my M146 trailer behind it, move the whole house at once. that's what I did when I got out of the Navy and went from VA back to SC.
