    CUCV alternators - I'm still confused

    I rebuilt both of mine i paid $80 for 1 and $65 for the other 1 was cheaper cause he didnt replace the pully. I like using local shops. The owner knew exacly what it was for cause he saw the isolated ground and he use to have a contract with the Army rebuilding them.

    Water temp guage install

    I also have both Gauges water/oil on the DRIVER side rear of the block. the oil pressure gauge is in where the sending unit for dummy lights were. the water temp is where the Glowplug sensor goes. thats how it was when i got the truck from a freind. my glow plug light use to stay on a long time...

    M1009 info needed

    I just ordered both types of starter brackets from ''gm parts direct'' im on my third set of starter bolts due to not having the bracket before. and i may have already damaged my flywheel. i wont be starting my truck until i have the relay mod and bracket installed.
