Dean, the deeper the better when it comes to snow with this thing. It won't get stuck on level snow. Real deep powder is no problem with it all!! Just makes for a bigger snow dust ball behind you. I have never come close to getting stuck on level ground. It leaves about a 5 inch impression...
My experience is that a towed 5 ton tracks like a dream. A deuce definitely does not. Put the parts in. The deuce front end tends to head top a stop when you take a turn.
