Cable will make it bounce like that. First thing to try is remove the cable and fill it up with ATF. Lubing it has worked for some and some I have had to replace.
The spedo has no calibration. how it is set is by different gears in the T case out put shaft. If you just swapped heads there should be no problem. I would look in to lubing or replacing the cable.
#58's is how that is listed. You can get all 8 injectors for under 60 bucks on Ebay. If you search you will see the seller I listed many many many times.
Air shift front axle? I have Never seen one in a deuce before. In fact I bet there was never even one offered in a deuce ever!
Are you meaning it has a air shift Transfer case?

If you do not know how to turn up the fuel how do you think you will be able to remove the FDC and put it back on? its WAY WAY WAY WAY more then just 4 bolts and hit it with a hammer.

I would search Turning up fuel" and go from there little grasshopper. You really need to read up on how to do it. There are many pictures posted on what and how to do it.

Yeah I have it.... too bad who ever runs the site has run it in to the ground and has not reloaded it in a couple years. Its 4 pages of Civy crossed parts to deuce 5 ton and a ton of other MV's
