    A3 Wheel Needed...

RE: Re: RE: A3 Wheel Needed... Good to hear about the progress. If you are able to reproduce the A3 style wheel, you could really increase your market opportunity by appealing to the 4x4 crowd. There are more rockwell axles under 4x4s with custom rims then we could ever hope to dream about in...

    A3 Wheel Needed...

RE: Re: RE: A3 Wheel Needed... I've got two A3 wheels with the 14.5s like are shown in the pic above. They are currently on one of my dueces, but I'll pull them off and sell them if you can't find any others.

    Wheel Spacer/Adapter Fiasco

DooDoo- Do you have a M1008 or M1009? I can't see how those adapters would work on a 6 lug M1009. You must have a M1008, because I don't think you would go with 38" tires with the M1009 gearing.

    DRMO stuff...hopefuly

Re: RE: DRMO stuff...hopefuly Another question might be, "Why do you need a boat like that in the middle of the desert?"

    DRMO stuff...hopefuly

Basically, units turn surplus items into DRMO and then if no gvt. agency claim it, then it goes to GL for public auction.

Project Baby Hemmt - FOR LEONARD

Glad to hear you are sticking with the singles. I was thinking it may look a little off with the xzl duals. I have seen dual XZLs on a Ford F-350 and that was the silliest ever!

    37" Hummer Tires & Wheels on M1008

I bought them from GL at Texarkana. I think there was 12 in the lot for $125. I choose to go with the spacers so that all my rims would be compatible and I wouldn't have to recenter 12 wheels. Dually hubs would work in the front too, but what about the back? If I get a flat or need to...

M816(?) Wrecker bed, crane and winch for sale on Ebay

There ain't no way they are getting $9000 for the bed. Besides, who wants the duty of removing that bed and then trying to transplant it to another truck? They should just look for someone who has a M813 and a little cash for a M816. If I were closer, I would trade them.

    M35a2 Tires ?

Those are Michelin XL tires. The 5 tons use the 14.00R20 size, but you will need either 12.5R20, 11.00R20, 14.5R20, or 15.5R20 depending on what you are after. The 12.5s are the same heigt as a stock 9.00. For duals, I would only run the 11.00s. The 14.5s and 15.5s look great as singles, but...

Deuce 4X4 with 5 ton axles project.

Re: Latest shots of deuce project Wow, a blast from the past. It is neat to look back at the old threads that started the project. Leonard, you said it would be on the road by Christmas, but you never quoted a year. Is this the year?

    2007 a good year to get a 5 ton

Yeah, I think the Clocking I have heard about is for a spool or welded diff. Sorry for any confusion.

    Locker location

Good post. I have been interested in the same thoughts and have asked for help on this before. I guess it depends on your application for the truck. If you have both air shift and front lockout hubs, I think the front axle would be best. If you run a disconnected rear axle and have middle...
