Joe, I believe those are the old style HEMTT wheels. I think Rancher's Supply in Colorado has been using those on the trucks they sell. Normally you see them with an XL tread tire, not an XZL. I don't think they are tubeless, but I could be wrong.

I was mistaken on my previous mutlifuel comment. This truck listed is a cummins M809 series. They tend to bring $2000-$3000 more than the mutifuels. The super single rims and tires can add up to $2400. This truck seems to be on the high side of the market, but time will tell. When the...
Welcome aboard sirk798! You could probably pay anywhere from $3,000-$13,000, with an decent runner for about $8000. A lot of the parts are common between the 813 and the 923, especially with the same engine, but the 923 parts are more difficult and costly to find. A lot of chassis/cab parts...
Thanks for the info. Got any pics?
I see a lot of great stuff coming out of GTMO through GL (there is a nice 5 ton there now). Do you bid on any of that stuff?
Probably depends on how you define better. Are you talking just engines or the whole truck? I would take the 8.3 because that truck will me more fuel efficient, good torque, super singles, CTIS and will probably be newer. Who thinks the A2 is not the preferred (better?) truck?
I like to look over the recently discussed topics on the mainpage. After clicking on a topic and reading it, I hit the back button to return to the mainpage and look for another topic. Now when I return, the page is not refreshed like it used to be and I get day old topics. Has something...
Sounds like you might be getting 12.50R20 and 12.00X20 tires mixed up. The 12.5R20 is the same diameter as a 9.00x20, and therefore a little smaller than 11.00x20. The 12.00x20 tire is larger than a 11.00x20.
The 12.00s are a hard size to come by. There are some military ones on ebay right now. What kind of truck are these going on? Maybe I could recommend an alternative tire for you.
That may be a rim from M1076 trailer. I do not know what else the Army runs 15.5s on. Let me do some measuring and I can tell you for sure. If it is, I could sure use it if you don't.
Man, I would love one of those MVTRs! I hope it is just a matter of time, but with the RESET/RECAP programs, the medium & heavy vehicles in use now will stay in use for quite some time.
I see no problem in posting about Ebay, GL, GSA or similar online listings. These listings are available to anyone in the world with a computer. After all, these are public auctions and are more easily found with a quick search than by trolling our site here at Steel Soldiers. Now if you are...
