Good luck with it Bjorn. I look forward to the pictures. I'm glad you are tackling this project. Hopefully the pink fairy will stay away for quite some time!

These came mounted on top of the boom with the spades facing the cab.

Looks great. [thumbzup] How about some pics of the lights? You are running the XLs tubeless right?

None of those trucks are mine.

Largest tire size for cucv m1008 stock vehicle

Nobody said that. I have tried to say/show that you CAN run 36's without a lift if you trim some fender. Otherwise, I would expect some (a lot) of rubbing.

Largest tire size for cucv m1008 stock vehicle

Here are some pics showing the 36" and 37" HMMWV tires. I believe the first two are without lifts.

Largest tire size for cucv m1008 stock vehicle

With or without fender trim? The fender style is very blocky and you can get a large tire in there if you round the corners some. I'm planning to put 37" HMMWV radials on mine soon. I may go with the 1" zero rate block in the front as well.

    What's a good-condition M200A1 go for?

Yes, I think location is always key due to the shipping. Most military surplus stuff is HEAVY (even the tires) and shipping costs can frequently be more than the item you need/want. I'd like to get another M200, but location is key!

    5 ton and tires

You could maybe get by, but I would recommend you get some of the 2 pc wheels. 15.5 or 16" tires are plenty wide for a stock rim. Also, running single tires with the offset dual rims will look a little weird.

    valve stems needed

I think Memphis quoted me $27 each, but I'm not sure if they were new. Mike's are new.

    5 ton and tires

If you want big, get the 16.00s. The 15.5s are not much taller than the 1100s. What rims do you plan on using?

    Super Singles

To run singles on a 5 ton, the preferred route is 2 piece, bolt-together wheels. They run about $200-$300 each, complete with nuts, valve stem, o-rings, and beadlock insert. These are typically used tubeless, although some guys do run tubes. I would go tubeless. You can also use split-ring...

    5 ton and tires

Either set up should work with the right rims. What is the operating environment and application for the truck? What are you goals and objectives for changing the tires?

    valve stems needed

Call Mike @ M.L. Bernie Co. 323-935-6747. There are 2 styles, VS-1072 or VS-1090. I paid $21.28 each for mine.

Great, thanks. I'll look into it.

RE: OH YEAAAAH!!! Almost done !! Looks great Chad. Have you thought about a remote nozzle in the front? What kind of pump will you use?

AJ- Got any more details or pics of centering the axles? I might want to do that.

    What's a good-condition M200A1 go for?

I see them go for $200-$300 on GL. Where are you picking it up from? I have been looking for another one close to home.
