As far as I know, you really only have 2 options in a 46" tire. Either a Michelin XML 395/85R20 or Michelin Pilote G-20 XL 15.5/80R20. There are effectively the same width(15.5") with different tread patterns and load ranges (ply).
Yeah, it is a handy reference pic but next time I will include the 900x20 NDCC, Michelin XL 1100R20, Michelin XL 14.5R20 and get all the tires on level ground. I have all of these size tires currently in operation.
Here is a comparison of a few different sizes. Sorry but the 900x20 didn't make the pic.
L to R
Titan 1100x20 NDCC
Michelin XML 395/85R20
Michelin XL 15.5/80R20
Michelin XL 14.00R20
Michelin XZL 16.00R20
RE: Re: RE: Towing
Glad to hear you got the towbar. Hopefully, you will only have to use it to bring home new purchases and not recover any broken down trucks! What was the ticket for?
Keep checking GL and GSA. I have seen some on each site recently. BTW, how many $200 tows does it take to pay for a $500 towbar? If that includes the adapters, it probably isn't that bad of a deal, especially if no shipping charges are involved. Good luck, they are handy.
Wow, nice find. I really like the way you have listed the different tread amounts with a picture of each. Put these on ebay and I'm sure you will come out well!
RE: Re: RE: Wonder if Continental will let me bring this...
Continental has always been great when I checked firearms in Houston. They have always taken me to a discreet location behind the counter to inspect it and make sure it is unloaded.
