    deuce stall

Yesterday I was re-tightening the lugs after finishing up the hub flip and I used the hand throttle to push the idle up a little to help out my impact gun. When I finished I pushed the throttle back in and the engine died( no stutter, just instantly off). Cranked it back up and it idled fine...

    M35 to M34(hub flip, single 11-20's)

    In theory an 900 20 tire should have a diameter of 38”and a circumference of 119.32”. 1100 20 tires should have a diameter of 42” and a circumference of 131.88” ( roughly 110% of the 900 20),so 50mph would turn into 55mph.

    M35 to M34(hub flip, single 11-20's)

I just finished flipping mine and should be able to change over the wheels/tires in the next day or so. I only have six of the rims and I am contemplating mounting an 1100 20 on a m35 wheel for the spare.

XM757 climbing out of its nest

that was one thing that struck me about both Bjorn's and Ron's 8x8's the fewer, but thicker leaves and their longbow- like shape.

    New style CJ deuce?

oops, my point... It would make a lot more sense to fuse two deuce cabs thatn try and graft TJ parts imo. 2cents

    New style CJ deuce?

I like the idea and know that with enough time and money just about anything is possible, but A TJ windshield frame is roughly 3.5" narrower than the outer frame on a deuce and the TJ tub is approximately the same width from front to rear(58.5"ish) where a deuce cab is roughly 62" wide at the...

    Correcting Deuce Heater plumbing

Today I fixed the incorrectly installed heater plumbing on my deuce. I currently do not have the heater installed (project for another day), but my coolant filter is plumbed in the way a heater would be (it will be in parallel w/ the heater if/when I get around to it). According to this PS...

    deuce frame attachment

Re: RE: deuce frame attachment I had resigned myself to not having a rack as it is temporary, but a good bit of free steel just found it's way to me.

    deuce frame attachment

I am going to be building a headache rack to go bewtween the bed and cab of my deuce. I feel pretty good about welding mounts to the bed itself, but welding/drilling the frame makes me uneasy. any thoughts, or sugestions?

    Deuce hardtop variations

my first thought would have been to question the age of the truck in the bottom pic( is it really early?), but I can see that it has west coast mirrors.
