I was curious about the Yellow Stripe on the nose that some trucks have, dug around the internet and found this, thought I would post as I found it interesting.. I am sure those of you that have it know..but the rest of us..? 1969 battalion and group commanders either rode along in the convoys...

    Bobbed deuce vs deuce

I'm with PROSTOCKTOM, mostly a toy for me and better than a new truck that's going to rust out from under me and cost 6x as much.. I like both 6 and 4 wheel versions.. however I have code enforcement issues in my area so I decided be within code and go with the 4x4 not that I would need a 6x6...

    Bobbed deuce vs deuce

If you are looking for a SHTF vehicle only I would get an M109, that way you could sleep in it too or if you a buggin out your sht won't get wet!. Now it all depends on where you live I think.. My town code has a weight limit and length limit on any commercial vehicle. At the time I didn't...

    Premium Membership Explained

I have and idea.. now it doesn't mean it's a good one so don't crucify me for saying it but as a relative "newbie" I have been amounting my list of surplus parts dealers along the way with names found in posts and such... Perhaps it's a crazy idea but how about a "Ultra Membership" for the...

If it's cold you may have some ice in there causing you this issue... Did you recently drain the fuel filters for water? I took a bunch out of mine..

Deuce rear axle brake lockup..... Help please!!!

I decided I am not going to chance it and just ordered a rebuild kit for the airpack from Eriks. Going to try that and see where it gets me. I think it doesn't matter how you bleed the system there should never be any brake fluid coming out that breather line.. at least that's what I have been...

Deuce rear axle brake lockup..... Help please!!!

I'll try pumping mine like you did with yours in the video and see if it sounds the same. That video was very informative by the way, thank you. The Airpack was only venting through the Vent Tube in the engine compartment, that long tube that runs down the pass side of the engine. I only...

Deuce rear axle brake lockup..... Help please!!!

The TM states that the newer version is longer to prevent splitting. I checked the number on line and it matches up.. Any ideas on the Airpack issue I experienced.?

Deuce rear axle brake lockup..... Help please!!!

So I have finally gotten around to replacing my split brake house in the front, at the same time broke off the brake line going to the wheel so replaced that as well. Now the second time around I bleeded the airpack first and then the wheels, I got the same kind of blow-off as Mike929...
