I think the concern is with the hydraulic pressure exerted on the switch, not really with the amp draw. I, too would like to have reverse lights hooked to the trans. And a back-up alarm which would be on a jumper switch so it could activated only when deemed necessary.
I have LED headlights on my 932. They provide excellent night time vision without blinding or bothering oncoming traffic. After replacing the stock signals with LED's, I just couldn't resist a nocturnal road test. I can report the results as nothing short of outstanding. And I doubt the height...

It sure does run thru the carb. Not mixed or added to the gasoline, but in it's place. It's the diesels that can have propane injection to boost power, kinda like nitrous oxide omn a gas engine.
Uhhh.....Propane is most certainly supplied thru a carb. Rock crawler rigs FREQUENTLY do it. It allows the engine to remain running at any angle. Just got to slightly modify the existing carb. Several companies manufacture and sell kits. I know a guy that owns a propane company and just about...
Now that is a beautiful piece of history. So cool that has been preserved. Not very often does the data plate say "NOMENCLATURE" on the first line. Also look where granny gear is.
Be sure to check the depth of the water BEFORE you dive in. I may have to bring my hip waders this year- and NOT just for the story telling around the big campfire.
