Hey- I am trying to identify everyone in the group pic. Cut me some slack. I thought I did good by remembering to bring my camera.

I am gonna be there. It will be my first "Pavement Rally".

Yes 3dubs, they go in a freeze plug hole. I used a punch to dislodge the existing plug, then slightly bent the plug to make it easier to get out of the hole. The heater element came from GM with pretty good instructions.

Some '09's had block heaters, some didn't. Mine did not, so I installed one. Make sure you get all the grunge off to assure a good seal. I drained my radiator before hand, but some coolant will always remain in the block. Make sure the heating element is not touching the block.

Mike and I made it home safely and without issues. Gimp- when we passed you, we got off at the next exit and got diesel @ Pilot. Back on the hiway and had to go around the dancing trailer again. JW

I have the same Cooper STT's on my m1009. They are a great tire. That paint sure looks good.

I have really enjoyed the pics, videos, and comments from the 2009 Ga rally. A BIG THANK YOU to everyone involved for the great experience. I have a few pics to post. Would have taken more, but didn't find my camera until Sat. I am looking forward to more get-togethers in the future.

Kenny- post a pic and we can see if someone can make something similar. It would take a good embroidery machine. I sure would like to purchase something like what you received.

Wow! I could have gotten THAT much for the 1009 I sold? I guess I should have held out!! This seller would not know a HUMVEE from a bumble bee.:lol:

I would also like to get a couple of them if they are found. I replaced my gauge when it was determined that the resistor was bad. When I try to find them, all I get is a blank stare and the old "try the manufacturer" song and dance.
