I wouldn't use glass on a deuce. You can buy a new top or weld a small replacement patch if its a hole. Bondo is no going to look right on the very flat surfaces of the deuce. But I guess it really depends on what you are going to do with it, and if looks matter over function. 2cents

I wouldn't go thicker than 1/8th of an inch. However, I have seen it 1/4 of an inch thick but it loses its strength.

1968-71 the 9.00x20 were original issue. In later years the tires were changed to 11.00x20 tires, which are slightly heavier and wider than the 9.00x20 tires.

The tires if (NDT) non-directional tires will be 9:00x20

Check the contacts on the back of the switch...something (dirt grime or frayed wires) are completing the circut and/or causing a short.

Ok so drop the front drive shaft. Any problems with the spindle??

no ideas on free wheeling the front axle?
