    24v inline fuel pump

I took a look at it today. It looks like my pump is 1/4” npt (Male). I used an adaptor on each end, that goes to compression fitting. I cut the original copper fuel line and inserted the whole pump and adaptor assembly into the section I cut out. It’s still working perfectly.

    Never ending head gaskets

Go spend $40-50 and get your self a cheap boost gauge. If you see over 12-14 psi under a load, back off the fuel or keep changing head gaskets. I prefer a copper tube line for the boost gauge.

    Never ending head gaskets

Also, which style head gaskets are you using? Did this start happening right after you bypassed the fdc?

    Never ending head gaskets

Since bypassing the FDC, have you checked your boost pressure or exhaust temps? I suspect you are overboosting and need to reduce your max fuel rate.

    M1008 starter running-on

I have explained it before, and I will not now, here. I am always met with resistance and ignorance from the same select few members. I simply dont care to debate it anymore. Do your own research if you want to. (right here in SS with a search).

My comments can be taken either way. That’s a special writing technique I learned. For more writing techniques, Click here Also, I am now working on a new modification! Still under development/hacking. Look forward to a new bigger nail, or possibly a freshly polished screw, in the near future.

    M1008 starter running-on

So, when the starter runs on, is it the nail or the motor(with green spinning thing) that’s bad? Or just replace the AA batteries? Maybe just dirty contacts on the tacks or aluminum floppy thing?

    M1008 starter running-on

It’s not a ”Ford” solenoid. By definition, it’s a relay.(not a solenoid). There is much more to the reason I chose the relay that I did. If you do some research, you would understand why. Some people just don’t want to change anything. That’s fine too. It’s a shame that some only bash or...

Do you know that you must shut it off with the “ignition switch” before turning off the battery switch? If you mistakenly shut the battery switch off first, you can damage the protective control box.
