    Threw a Torque Rod today

I didn't read all replies so I hope I'm not covering old ground. When i bought my 925 it had a very bad slam when downshifting. I replaced obviously bad dogbone bushings and the truck smoothed out amazingly. I did the washer welding fix on a couple but will replace them when time allows.

    M923a2 air compressor mystery

I had similar problems with my compressor after I loaded a large deck worth of lumber into my truck. Thank you Hagerty for the free tow home. Long story short the head gasket was old and crumbling and preventing pressure from building. Parts I needed to rebuild the top end were hard to source so...

5 ton time! Apparent Fuel Starvation Problem.

Just an update. The flair on the fuel line where it attaches to the tank decided to not seal. I replaced the entire fuel line with a hydraulic hose for $82 and all is good in the world..... well except for biden

5 ton time! Apparent Fuel Starvation Problem.

Wow! Ran a line from the inline filter (before the lift pump) to a 5 gallon can and cracked the bleeder on the IP and almost instantly had fuel bleeding out of the injector lines. Tightened everything up and it fired up and ran! Haven't checked lines from the tank yet but they must be the...

5 ton time! Apparent Fuel Starvation Problem.

im having a similar issue with my 8.3. It was running then just slowed down and stopped. It will run on starting fluid so it is a fuel issue. I've changed the lift pump, fuel filters, I had an extra injection pump so I changed it to. I got a piece of fuel line and bypassed all the lines from...

    WTH, Found a tank today.

So, I understand tanks are the next level of collecting and all sorts of new legal questions need to be answered for ownership, but, if I now where the govt. dumped some into the ocean would they be abandoned property or not?

    Allison transmission shifting issue

Thank you for your reply. I have tried to seach this problem but the search feature seems to send me to Google and it isn't very helpful. I could read 100''s of pages of TM but I thought a knowledgeable person could help me narrow down the problem

    Allison transmission shifting issue

I have a 923a2 that I bought for the engine but found a machine shop that the owner needed a trade of services so a rebuild on my 925a2s engine became a no brainer. Only thing wrong with the 923 is the tranny doesn't shift right. It will go through 1st and 2nd and will try for 3rd if it is...

My fleet is finally complete...for now!

I finally have a big Green monster in my yard! I've wanted one as long as I can remember. 925a2. Even the drive home was more than an adventure. Turbo self destructed and stuck me on the side of the road 90 miles from home. Fortunately AAA PLUS RV insurance covers towing large things. While...
