Nice. Look at the brake hoses while you're in there. Old brake hoses are bad news if you have single circuit brakes.

Yeah thats the problem. The taper isnt a standard size as far as Ive been able to figure out. So if they have to get a custom tool made the price will get crazy.

Well one thing that should swap over is the improved water pump. Looks like they're around $300 and still available.

Well Im pretty sure Im SOL on the brake hone idea. The brake hone isnt precise enough to enlarge the tapered hole evenly while removing that much material. So the torque rod will either be loose if I take out too much material or it wont be able able to move freely because the hole is uneven...

Here's some shots. One with a 5/32 drill bit which seems to be about the size of the rounded corner.
