    M1009 Windshield frame rust repair/replace

Wow thank you.. I have a stretcher/shrinker and a tig and a mig machine so I have the tools to do it. Just didn't know if there were ready made panels. Thanks for the insight. I'll pull the windshield and mark the bead also. I'll post up some pics once I get the glass out. See how bad it really is.

Need help with my M1009 windshield frame repair. I need to repair the areas that have rusted through and don't know if they sell the complete panel where I can drill out the spot welds and replace the entire frame or not. How have others repaired this area? I didn't find and threads talking...

    New M1009 CUCV owner!!

Been a while since update. Motor is still running great. No more leaks. Replaced the NP208 output seal, stopped that leak. Wired up the coolant temp gauge and it is working great. Used the tap at the front driver side of motor. Swapped out old bent tie rod for a seriously beefy one from ORD...

I'm having a similar issue and I noticed the orange wire that comes from the solenoid on the driver's side of the trans is cut and hanging. I can't find where the orange wire should go and terminate with a spade plug I'm sure but don't know the location. I don't get kickdowns from 3rd on the hwy...

    CUCV-II 2000 Crew Cab

Anymore updates on the truck or the axle swap? Love the idea of a dually cucvII, looks like you could just swap on the fenders and paint to match. Looking into getting one of these, how is the interior noise on the Hwy vs the M1009 or M1008?

What is happening with T-Case in 4Hi and hubs NOT locked?

Old I know but I didn't see this mentioned. I may be crazy but I drive my deuce all the time using 2low and 2hi and rarely engage the airshift front axle other than to keep everything lubed. Granted the M35 t-case is different, the priciple is the same, much like a NP205 or 203 case.
