Need some clarification on M880 Camo Pattern

Ok, Yes, I prefere the Merdc scheme, for me it has proven to be better than the 383 scheme, not only in South Korea! In my 27 years of ownership My Dodge has seen some other colors as wel, But I always missed the original color! (Merdc winter scheme)

Need some clarification on M880 Camo Pattern

I completely agree with what you say, I own a M-884 in winter scheme, and I noticed that if you put a 383camo and a Merdc (winter scheme) together and have a look at them in the twilight, you'll still see the 383, and you hardly see the one in Merdc.[thumbzup] and If I'm correct one of the...

Need some clarification on M880 Camo Pattern

I don't know if you know, and I don't know if the US Army has the same regulations, but with the NATO 3 color camo you also have a desert and winter option. At least the Geman and Dutch army has regulations that if they go desert, they replace the green part of the 3 color camo with tan, and for...

Need some clarification on M880 Camo Pattern

All Dodges came from the factory in forrest green. Once arrived on the base, it was the commanders decision which type of MERCD camo to use depending on the surrounding terrain/saison.(i.e. summer, winter red desert or yellow desert) and how to apply, paint booth, or brush, hence all the...

    Question to all ambulance owners.

I find that the bed takes up so much camperspace, it's a pity. I can get a s-250, but that's way too small for my likings, I can't even sleep in it, too long.(me than, that is). but I might come up with a other solution.

    Question to all ambulance owners.

about ten years ago or longer, there was a complete family in Holland, who prepared a M-886,a nd two landrovers, and so equipped they traveled to mongolia, After teir tour I had contact with them, and they told me with all the offroading and chassis twisting routes they took they had to replace...

    Question to all ambulance owners.

Hello all ambulance owners,on a M-880base or W-400 or so, Do you have problems with the flexing of the chassis? since the ambu body builder fixed the box to the cab, and the cowling to the top of the front windshield, one should think that if you go off road with it, cracks would appear in the...

    Rear bumper loops

don't you think they're a bit big for that? I know they use them for that, But I'm pretty sure they were intended to stow the vehicle for train, air or boat transport.

M880 alternative to Carter BBD carb??

Those locking fuel caps are no good, Sorry, but I have bad experiences with them. I wish I still could get a new seal for my original fuel cap. and rust in the tank, will be difficult with a plastic tank, unless it would come from the pick-up tube. or maybe the hardlines from the tank to the pump?.

    Not exactly a M880...

Yes! Pic's!!!! And if the inside was semi gloss Forrest Green it's still possible that it was a Army truck, since the Army has the possiblity to buy little batches of vehicles, sometimes even one offs if they need them for a special purpose.

    Mounts under front bumper

Well, I noticed at my other frames, that at all frames I have, there were already all the holes predrilled in that location, which makes me wonder, if those brackets were to be carried by wreckers only, and to be mounted prior the towing/recovery and then removed, or if they were a modification...
