    MT-1029/VRC Radio Mount

I found this MT-1029/VRC Radio Mount stored away in my collection. I really have no use for it and would like to get rid of it, but i have no idea what this thing is worth or if there is a market for them.

In my superduty and Land Rover i use Rotella, Rotella T synthetic in my vette. But in the deuce i usually just use cheap heavy truck oil. What do you use in your deuce and what weight? do you switch to a different weight in the winter months?

Popcorn, Old Men, and Big Green Iorn

Did something pretty cool this week, Ran the Deuce in the popcorn festival in Marion Ohio. A guy contacted me about a month ago saying there were some VFW members who couldn't walk the parade route and wanted to know if i was interested in hauling them with some banners. Figured sure why not...

Will the Deuce pull a 40' CONEX box?

Moving to Texas soon, in an attempt to reduce the number of trips i have to make, i am considering the purchase of a M1022 to move a ISO container down there rather then paying to have it moved. See here:http://www.steelsoldiers.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=9967 Will the deuce...

    Is a M1022 what i need?

Planning on moving to Texas from Ohio in 16 months. We had planned on just buying an old CONNEX overseas container and having it shipped down there. But since the deuce has to go to, would it be possible to use a M1022 or something of that nature to tow one with behind the deuce? What would be...

I’m putting the Deuce in the Mud runs at the fair soon. The pit is 200' by 20' and aprox. 18" deep. I figure i will also sink down in it a little more... I just have the vent caps on the axles, so i am going to swap those with bolts or pipe plugs right before the run to seal up the axles. What...

A story with no REAL point, but involves a Deuce

Well today a friend and myself were out joy riding in the deuce, and decide to go over to a friends house and hang out. But since he cant drive yet he relies on the bus to get home. So anyway we beat him to his lane. (He lives down a dead end one lane county road) and since i know the bus driver...

    just an idea..

I cant speak for everyone. but i know that I personally hate crawling under the truck to drain the tanks. and of course unless you want them to freeze up ( which i have had happen this winter) you have to drain them. What if some 24V solenoids were wired up and attached to valves and run...
