Adding an aftermarket coolant gauge to an M1008
Hey y'all, In my process of reworking the wiring in my M1008 back to stock 24V, I ended up tossing out my glow plug harness that was shredded to pieces. NC Any trouble registering and insuring an M1008 in NC? Want to use mine for weekend cruising.
The guy I got it from had tags on it from 2017 and put temporary tags on it when he wanted to go hunting. Was wondering if anybody had experience registering and insuring CUCVs recently. I'm in Brunswick Co if that matters, I know our emissions and stuff are a lot more lenient here. Don't really... -

U-joint replacement PN
Hey y'all, Back at it. Dropped the front driveshaft to get a clear view to drill out the broken starter bolt and whaddya know, the u-joints haven't seen oil in probably 25 years. Rats nest wiring, setting 12V back to 24V
Hey y'all. Proud new owner of an '86 M1008. Trying to get her running reliably by July. The previous owner converted it to 12V after it caught on fire at the passenger side wiring block. Said he had alternator work done and a 12V starter put in. I want it back to 24V. I don't know these trucks...
