OK, have the deuce pretty well buttoned up now that we sealed firewall and installed new weather stripping around passenger window glass....but... The windows on both sides of truck splay outward at the top, so they really don't seal too well. Went through the TM on glass replacement and there...

So far my son (BajaPower) and I have done quite a bit of wrenching to our deuce....replaced injection pump, replaced injectors, head gaskets, changing tires, upgrade wiper system, etc. The most miserable project so far has to be the project we did tonight, replacing the emergency brake cable...

I have seen some pics of your military vehicles and some of them have the Ohio Historical Vehicle tag displayed....Fred for one. Why do you guys do this? The Ohio Revised code allows historic military vehicles that are so tagged to have the registration number painted on to the front and back...

Have a leaking shaft seal on the deuce air compressor......not major, but needs corrected. Tips and hints on repairs? Anyone know what TM # it may be covered in?

Found the casue of our troubles....took the injection pump off and the hydralic head was rusted on some of the cylinders and generally full of garbage. Someone here (can't remember who) had a freshly rebuilt pump off an LDT 465 they pulled for a (Cat?) repower.....can't find the thread...

Trying to figure out why some members insist on posting with blue text on the black background.....on all of my pc's it's just about impossible to read any of it w/o highlighting. The green isn't much better either...... Anymore I just ignore a post in blue.

Posted earlier about needing a j pipe for the deuce. I really didn't want to spend the $$$ on Saturn's spiffy SS set up. I emailed all the likely suppliers and Jay from Saturn replied he had ONE NOS pipe in stock. I ordered it and a few small items Tuesday and the stuff was delivered today...
