No Fuel, No Start, No Idea

Please help. In the fall I parked my deuce with ¼ of a tank of diesel according to the gauge (which turned out to be less than 1/8 of a tank). It never ran out of fuel or coughed or missed, I shut it down in the normal way. Next spring I went to fire it up and it wouldn’t start. I checked...

    Manifold (heater) Destiny

I was attempting to start my deuce this morning and I thought that it would be handy to be able to use my manifold heater rather than jump out of the cab, run around the truck, spray some either, run back to the cab, and try to start the engine, repeat if needed. I searched through a bunch of...

    Tree removal the easy way

We had some strong straight line winds this morning after a thunder storm rolled through and it took down to box elder trees. Dragging the trees off is much easier than dealing with them in place. I accidentally backed into the stump (didn't there used to be an "embarrassed" smiley face?)

    Standard Gasoline Engines

There is an auction near my house this weekend and I was previewing some stuff and noticed these two engines. They are gas but I didn't get the NSN off of them. Does anybody know what they are from and if they are worth bidding on? Thanks

    Sandblaster for WMO Pump

I had an ah-ha moment last night while trying to get to sleep. What if instead of a hydraulic pump or re-purposed power steering pump to push WMO through filters, why couldn't I fill a pressurized sandblaster with WMO and then use air pressure to send it through a series of filters. I would...

    Tach works Hour gauge doesn't

I recently went up to Camp Ripley, MN to recover a M105 I won on GL and I was going to figure out my gas(fuel) mileage (7 to 9 MPG) and the fuel consumption per hour. At my first fuel stop I noticed that the hour gauge hadn't moved even though the tach works fine. Any suggestions on how to fix...

    Radio Mount?

I picked up a M35A2 yesterday and it has this under the seat with some sort of speaker on the floor and a antenna mount. Is this for a radio or laptop? If so which model. Any help would be great. Nick

    Now part of the club

I took the plunge yesterday and got me an M35A2C from Andy at army6x6.com. I am now in the process of cleaning off some surface rust for some new paint. It all started with a $170 M105 from GL (EUC at Battle Creek) and it sure seemed like it needed something to pull it with. Hopefully I won't...
