Here is a photo of a 4l80e/np205 adapter -used in 1991 only - painted dark red and a turbo 400/np 205 adapter painted silver - used from 1985 thru 1990. These use a different crossmember and mount than those in a cucv.hope this is helpful to those doing a swap
Pulled the diesel 6.2 today . Will install 454 by the weekend. Will post some photos tomorrow. Have alot of 6.2 engine parts for sale cheap. Motor ran great - had wiring problems. Should be a easy swap . Stay tuned
When i bought my truck - m1008 - somebody had cut the wiring harness and removed the alternators. I now have 5 or 6 wires with no ends on them that need to be connected to the correct terminals on the correct new alternators i installed. Anybody that can help ? Thanks , hal
I bought my m1008 in georgia form a towing company. It sat in their yard for 2 years. I did a car fax it it has never been titled . They gave me a bill of sale only. How can i get a title for it ? I live in florida but also own a house in georgia . Thanks
