    M1008 Running/Parking Lights

I picked up this M1008 in July and have been running down the requisite fluid leaks and electrical issues. I noticed that when I turn on the headlights the front turn signals and front side markers do not turn on. They do, however, flash when the turn signals are activated normally with the turn...

    West Miami CUCV

I know I am not the only MV in South Florida. But I haven't seen any rolling around Miami. Yesterday, while on my motorcycle, I saw another M1009 on miami's famous 8th Street (Tamiami Trail). It was 13:50 and we were between 157th Ave and the Miccosukee Hotel & Casino. Was it anybody here? THANKS!

    Brushguard Weight?

My 1009 did not come from GL with a brushguard. I like the look of one and was looking at buying. I was wondering, though, what they weigh and if they were heavy (maybe 100+ lbs) the weight SAVING may be the way to go. THANKS!

    Front Shackle Brackets

Hey guys. Been trying to round up some parts for my 1009. I needed front shackles (clevis hooks) and picked up a couple "D" rings and hangars. Turns out the brackets that hold the hangars on were removed at some point as well. Anybody have the fronts lying around that they could part with? THANKS!

    2008 KIA Military Truck

I saw these all over the Philippines recently. The Army uses them for everything you could possibly think of. Some have troop seats, canvas covers, trailers, comm shelters...you name it. I thought they were a cool replacement for what our CUCV's used to do...

    Pimped Philippine Jeep

I snapped this pic a few weeks ago on a Navy Base in the Philippines. Thought you guys might enjoy it. They say these vehicles are all old military surplus...I don't know if that's true but I thought this one was cool!

    Philippine Navy Deuces

I usually live in the CUCV area as I own an M1009. However, I thought you Deuce enthusiasts would enjoy some pics. I was just recently working in The Philippines at the West Mindanao Navy HQ Base. I saw that they still drive these trucks and snapped some pics of what I saw them doing the...

    M1009 REAR Blackout Light Operation

Was trying to figure out EXACTLY what the rear blackout lights on my M1009 are doing. All the wires are cut and all the lights are busted. I see 2 wires plus ground going to each light. The -20 (figure F-20) calls them BO STOP MARKER LT and the fronts are named BO MARKER LT. The rear lights have...
