Happy New Year to All.
Just picked up a 1954 Reo M44 503B Firefighter last Friday. The truck is in very good condition but is missing a few things that I hope to be able to replace at some time.
The truck has a multi-fuel diesel engine that I didn't expect. Thought these came with gasoline...
Hey guys,
I have a 1941 Chevy G506? that needs the correct bed. At some point in time the frame was lengthened and a flat bed was installed. The frame can be shortened to its original length without too much trouble.
Have been looking for the correct bed and found the one pictured, it is 147"...
Greetings from the chilly northland. Have been trying to find a few things to make my truck more user friendly during colder weather. Was looking at TM 9-2320-361-20P Section 2 where there is a thermal barrier kit pictured in figure 258.
and was wondering if anyone knows if this kit is still...
Bought a second M35A2. A 1966 Jeep to go with my first one a 1966 Reo. Was told the Jeep was used as a kitchen truck and found some evidence to back up that theory.
This second truck has the air lock transfer case and Hercules multi fuel. Drove it the thirty or so miles home after putting...
Greetings from North Dakota!
Got a call last night that led to todays project. Seems a local individual has a 1954 M37 that needs some attention. Well long story short version is that they asked a local shop to work on it but where told they didn't have time but the mechanic gave them my phone...
Help, I am working on a white multifuel in a M35A2 and am looking for the TM that covers injector pump adjustments. This number would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Ok , I realize this isn't a military vehicle but it is big and old and goes well with my Duce. Thought some one might appreciate it as I do. It is a 1951 Flxible Visicoache that has been converted to an RV of sorts. Needs some TLC but will come around. Enjoy.
Recently bought a 66 Reo 2 1/2 ton 6x6 and an old highway department V-plow. The plow and mounts weigh 2000# From reading other threads on this topic it sounds like I need a 5ton to handle that much weight. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks for the help, Jerry
I recently purchesed my first M35 a 1966 Reo and am having trouble getting the front axle to lock in. It appears to only do so in reverse as there is a rod on top of the trans that only engages the transfer case in reverse. My other truck is a 1941 Chevy G506. Thanks
