Picked up a Hummer 6.2L take out a few weeks ago and it has this item on the front of the water pump pulley. Appears to be a hydraulic motor maybe? Only has one inlet/outlet though and its small at something like a 3/16" line input.
I've never looked under the hood of a HMMWV, so not sure of...
I'm looking for several (or maybe a set of 10) stock 9.00 X 20 NDCC tires for my Deuce. I know where I can buy them online, but shipping is the killer for them.
Anyone know of a source in the VA or MD area? I don't mind a drive to pickup, as that will still be cheaper than shipping a set...
Since pins (and other stuff) for the medium towbars are getting a bit tricky to find, I was wondering if the 1" pins found at the local Tractor Supply would be safe to use?
These are longer than the originals, but look to be hardened and if they will pull a large implement, they seem like...
I have started working on my S250G and I'm getting it painted and ready to install into my M715.
I have the main plate on it that shows the dimensions and its in great shape, but all the others have been removed. There appears to have been 4 and possibly even 5 other plates. The rivets...
Hopefully someone with a 151 can help me. I have an M151 heater (just the blower and box) that I am working into my M715. It has a 3" outlet duct off the blower fan.
What I'd like to see is how the stock duct comes off the blower. A pic would be very helpful.
I'd also like to know if...
Has anyone found a way or tried to seperate out water from WMO?
I have one 55 gal drum with some emulisified WMO and rainwater that I will have to have hauled as HAZMAT if I can't use it some way. It isn't badly emulisified like a milkshake from being inside an engine, but from the mixing of...
I have been getting my 85 M35A2 all set and finally is on the road and operational. Love driving it!
Anyway, as I have been under it a fair amount, I started wondering after finding some old exhaust hangers how old this truck really was?
I remember that there was the article on Deuce ID...
Finally got around to pulling the deuce brakes down to do all the wheel cylinders, fluid, hoses and front boots, when on both front wheels I found this. Surprisingly it didn't stop too bad. Not great, but not too bad considering the shoes hadn't touched the front drums in a loooooong time...
At some point I will be installing a receiver hitch on my Deuce so that I can pull a regular flatbed trailer. Does anyone have any pics of their setup?
Just looking for a few ideas before I begin fabbing and welding. Looks like it will need to be a considerable drop from the frame rails to a...
Searched the site pretty extensively, but cannot find what battery number is correct for my AM General M35A2. There are currently some junkers in there that are mismatched.
If it makes a difference its a Continental Multifuel with the Whistler "C" Turbo.
Any help is appreciated!
I am looking at a Deuce for sale here in VA and the current owner has the EUC, but has never titled it in his name.
Can he just pass the EUC on to me and then I file for a title, or is it something non-transferrable? Don't want to find out after I am the new owner that I can't get the...
Hi All,
I am looking to purchase a deuce in the near future and just saving the cash to do so right now.
I'm kinda partial to the M35A2, but not too picky if the price is right, which brings me to my question: I know there are a million variables, so I just want a ballpark on what one...
I've been looking around the site for a while now, and I usually hang aroung the 715 Zone, but thought I'd post up a pic of my M715.
Its a '67 with a BBC transplant. Otherwise, trying to keep it looking stock.
