Replaced failed rear differential. Shout out to KASSCAR. Changed out front differential oil, some metal in it, sigh…. Hopefully it is not that bad. I really don’t want to replace it. Oh yeah, the UPC is a pain when you have to service it.

Action , I apologize for not being more clear. I wanted to know if people are using the standard (L-20-MA-133-A-11 Idler) or heavy duty (06004839 Idler Arm, Steering, Heavy Duty). The 06004839 will work but one has to add a couple washers to take up the space between the link arm and castle...

I agree, my '85 was CARC painted in '95 so it is faded enough where it is almost impossible to match with the paints out there in rattle cans except for the flat black. I agree with Infidel got me, all the flat blacks I have tried seem to match.

Correct. I have an early M998 with the old style "dish" which caused some slight interference issues. I was able to "crimp" the flange on the driver side with the dish in the vehicle however that didn't work for the passengers side; I had to remove it and take a ball peen hammer to it...
