    I finished up the front axle seal/boot replacement, and installed the convoy light kit I got from Adelmans truck parts in Ohio.

    More work for the M62A1 this evening, removing the dump bed from my R685 Mack, with some help from my 941B Caterpillar.

    I used my M62A1 to remove both rear differentials on my 1969 R685ST Mack for some part replacement/ re-shimming. As you can see in the last 2 pictures, the splines in the spider gears are worn out, as well as the axle splines.

    I used my M62A1 to lift the front end of my Mack R685St dump truck up in the air to add oak cribbing under the front tires. This will add extra height to aid in pulling the TRDXL-1070 trans for some input shaft/ clutch work. No pictures, working by myself again.

    I passed my M51A1 dump on to it's new owner on Wednesday evening, so now I am down to 1 5 ton wrecker and 1 M151 jeep.

    I have worked on the M62A1 quite a bit this week to get it ready for the trip to Georgia on the 19th,( last time the wrecker left the yard was 2 years ago !). Just minor stuff,replacing flex lines,changing oil and filters etc. I have a few tires to swap before the trip as well.

    I replaced the air governer on the M62A1,it was getting slow to build air. I also swapped hard tops on the M51A1 dump Saturday,as well as replaced both wiper motors and the drivers door glass.

    Sold my M54A1C today,it will be going home to it's new owner next Saturday.

    I considered using larger cable,but since I was re-spooling 3 winches(760 feet!),I went with the 5/8, if I ever need extra capacity,I always carry 2 single sheave snatch blocks in every truck. I usually carry 5 to 6 on the wrecker.

    I finished assembling the wrecker winch that I rebuilt for the M51A1 dump truck. Now I have to install it and spool it with 280 ft of 5/8 cable.

    I swapped in a NOS ENDT 673 Mack into my M51A1 dump to replace the one in it that is having cam issues,sorry no pictures,time was of the essence with this swap.

    I preparation for the trip down to pick up the M322 I won,I am replacing the bypass coolant lines as well as the coolant feed lines to the air compressor on the M54A1C. Parts for a 673 Mack are not as readily attainable on the road compared to a Cat or Cummins,so it pays to do your prep work...

    I used my M62A1 and M103 genset trailer(converted to haul my air compressor,welder, and tool box) to remove,clean, and re seal the final drive on a John Deere 450 AA track loader/backhoe combo. It would be difficult to do without a wrecker anymore. Pictures!

    Well,I got the M54A1C cable finished this morning,and cut,pulled,spooled and installed the 280 feet of cable on the M62A1 this afternoon. Only 3 pictures.

    The 760 feet of 5/8 cable arrived yesterday,brand new US made! I got 200 feet measured out and installed on the M54A1C this evening,I'll finish the winch chain on it and take pictures of the cable on the wrecker install tomorrow. I also contacted an individual about another M51 dump...
