Well - that sucks. Glad to hear you were able to summon help for yourself! Recover well - the project will be ready when you are. If I wasn't 2400 miles away I'd volunteer to come over on a future weekend to get the heavy work done.- Chaski

The 700R4 is a glorious upgrade (as long as it is built correctly). I love mine behind a stock 6.5. It really helps out with crawl ratio. For example, take a pickup with a TH400 or a 4L80E and a NP205. Tough as nails, but a horrible crawl ratio. The 4L80E and TH400 both have a 2.48:1...- Chaski

Go big. That NP 205 does not have a very deep low range. Might as well build up a 203/205 doubler if you want to dive off the deep end. Check out what Offroad Design offers. Or you could just do the easy thing and swap out that input on your 208. It really is easy, requires no special...- Chaski
