Lol, no... didn’t loose a bet :)
I haven’t changed the fluid since I’ve had the truck (about a year), and everyone knows you can’t trust that the “last guy” ever did any maintenance... so just to put my mind at ease, I put it on the schedule and took care of it.
Now I KNOW when the fluid was...
Just drained/refilled gear oil in all three differentials, transmission, and transfer case.
Next up: remove and repack bearings on all 6 hubs... not looking forward to that.

I found a new scratch-and-dent Donaldson dual filter air cleaner on an auction site for CHEAP (rated for 700cfm)
So I fabbed up a mount and a 6” mil-spec PVC intake :)
As long as it’s painted OD it’s legit, right? LOL!

Got the new fuel filters installed, and bypassed the fdc. Glad I installed an egt sensor, cause now it will get up to 1300 FAST!

I have those same drains... I think they purge so little that you won’t really hear them, but it’s enough to let out a drop of moisture.
Best bet would be to have soldier B pump the brakes while you poke your head underneath and see if they are purging.

I have been a little unhappy with the steering seeming to wander all over the place... and it didn’t occur to me until I was reading some other threads that my issue may have something to do with...
I was running the deuce and saw some puffs of smoke coming from the passenger side of the engine compartment... discovered my flame heater injector was leaking. Dripping fuel directly onto the exhaust side of the turbo.
So... I did a semi- delete of the flame heater.
Removed the compression...
Well my rubber feed line going to my IP developed a leak in it when I was replacing the copper line... so I got a local hose store to make me up a new one. I got everything back together, put new hangers on the copper, and no more leaks! This is kind of a stop-gap until I can replace all of...
So I noticed my copper fuel line was crimped at one of the hangers...
I tried "un-crimping" it with a pair of vice-grips, horribly unsuccessful.
So I got all the pats to replace it, got it all bent up, got it all put back together... Just to find out that all the movement cracked the brittle...
