Hey, just what we all need is a seat less no flush toilet that is mounted in the door way ready for a kitchen fire to fall over trying to get out of the trailer. The fire marshall would not approve, muchless the codes inspector.
Moon Pie & a R/C Cola was a major treat in years gone by. Now they say it will rot your teeth & cause heart attacks. (They) are jealous of the times when simple things were treasured; we knew better than to eat a case of moon pies & a case of R/C cola @ one sitting. ;-)
You should see what James has done with the two trailers, the first one is pictured in his post. The second one is in its desert tan colors with a great cleanup & repair to make it an envy of any of us here for what it cost him. They are a man cave on wheels to say the least.
Saturday was pickup attempt 2 for the Gichner S-788-G shelter & it fit on the A/M34K-4a perfectly. I did have to remove the bolted on tie downs on the corners & put 2"x 8" runners down the center & outside of the trailer deck to space the shelter off the deck since there is a small bolted on...
Well, I discovered that a Gichner S-788 - G will not fit in a M-1102 or a M-105a2 after trying to load it with a forklift. Proves the old adage that you measure twice & it fits, rather than you try twice & it still won't fit. It seems that I really don't know what I think I do sometimes. Well...
You were worried for nothing on that buy & recovery. It may have a few small issues, but it is still a great score. Congratulations on it all the way, auction pictures were poor compared to what you posted.
My deal is not working as well as the lift hydraulics blew a cylinder while I was...
Picked up another trailer, this one is a Tobyhanna M-116A3 trailer, if that is actually who makes it. I can't find the actual weight of the trailer without the gensets on it. My best guess is about 700 pounds since it is aluminum. This trailer pulls well behind the Toyota, so it will probably...
That turned out very well after all. If you had gotten a overseas container, it would have cost 4 times what you have invested in this trailer & you would have to pay to have it moved. With the trailer, you just back the 915 to it & off you go. Since it is wired for power, you can put some of...
That trailer looks a lot better now than it did on the GP lot. It also looks like your other trailer if it was broken into & everything stolen down to the walls; that will never happen as long as you own it with your burglar alarm system & dogs. ;-)
Well, it looks like you are far enough from the Huey LZ to not affect your tent setup, nice job by the way. I will be recovering 2 more of the M-353 trailers this week while you are having a blast @ the Creek. One year, a few years back, there was a co-pilot there who had a Deuce like mine...
These M-353 are nice trailers & are in excellent shape from the remanufacture process. I took one to work as a show & tell & it was sold before halfway thru the day. Guy needed a trailer to haul a diesel tank & that was all she wrote. I still have three left for generators & other stuff that...
Floridanson says I lost my mind, but I won 3 remanufactured M-353's here in Florida & picked them all up this morning. Pictures only if requested as I was busy loading & driving & forgot to do the pictures thing.
There were 39 of these units released @ the same time & they very well may be from...
I scored another M105a2 rebuilt trailer last week & brought it home yesterday. It is in great condition with new tires, paint & cover. The problem I have is that for the life of me, I cant get the side posts to insert all the way into the bed. In the past, a BFH & a block of hardwood would...
I unloaded a 450 lb fuel filter & pressure washed all the algae out & off of one of my M1102 trailers to free it up for use in bring home pallets from GP. Even though there was a tarp over most of the trailer, the bed was full of cedar needles & 3 years worth of growth of algae, that stuff grow...
Nope, that ain't happening again. Got shed of mine over 10 years ago & never looked back. If she was still around, I would have nothing, no house, no trucks & trailers, no guns. Some things are meant to be rented, not bought. ;-).
