    You are looking for this scribe mark on the Head. Best if you find some threads on the HH replacement and brush up real good. Also the 465 Trouble shooting manual is a good read. Your red paint might be there might not be. No on the quill shaft.

    No you won't have to plug the oil port. Only if you were replacing a Head # HD9070A or HD9085A with a different #.

    We talked about this in a thread but where it is I don't know. If I remember we figured there was no difference they just were different year lower units. You can look in the Deuce injection manual and see what pumps had the different ones. I also believe that we said you could run ether one...
