    Not necessary, the thermal switch will work fine for that situation… nothing to gain.

    Use it to help brake going down hill. Run it before going up a big hill to pre-cool the radiator, then turn it off when when the fan kicks on right as the truck is falling on it’s face near the top of the hill.

    I would guess close enough, but there are plenty of choices to weed through the specs on. Don’t hang up on port size either, you can easily bushing down 1/4.

    I gave up on the shutterstat and went electric I can turn the fan off/on manually or leave to operate as the stock shutterstat did
