RE: 1953 Studebaker Fire Truck / Also 1028 Fire truck threa
Hey Guys,
I have what I believe to be a roof monitor for a M530C that I'd like to part with. No pics at the moment, but PM me if interested. BTW, it's big and heavy.
Mike,
If you're interested, here's a page from my website that has the basic M-3L-4 specs... http://www.jetnoise400.com/ffn_specs.htm

Re: IHC FFN-3 crash truck @ Barstow Truck
That is indeed an early 40's IHC FFN-3 crash truck. IHC BLD-269 straight 6 gas engine, 5 speed crashbox trans, John Bean pump. I've got one all apart in my garage being restored right this very minute. Wish I could pick that one up to cherry pick...
Hi Mike,
I'll take a crack at this for you. The pump on mine is a John Bean Royal 55, and it's a 3 piston high pressure unit. It's rated at 60gpm max capacity, and 700psi max. These trucks were made to spray a high pressure fog at low volume.
Hope that helps.
