Various trailers need an auxiliary power wire to provide for equipment items they might have.
In the case of my FHT (Humvee 5th-wheel shelter carrier) 37 provides the 24v needed to power the electric brakes.
The downside was that the M1028A2 I pull it with didn't have power to the 37 pin on...
It should stick just fine. I had truck wheels powder coated gloss black, I gave them a quick scuff with a red Scotchbright pad and painted over them with flat paint. That was 15 years ago, and the paint is still on them. ;)

Thanks. I'd love to see the picture if you can find it! :jumpin:
I've found nothing so far myself. But then, it took me four years to find an inservice picture of the Air Force CMT-F trailers Pawnshop and I bought many years ago. ;)
And I pulled that light - while the lens is glued on, it...
Your link has good stuff in it, thank you. (y)
For the MST7G I actually have these, which I sourced off fleabay. Same look as the originals and allow interoperability with my 12v and 24v trucks without swapping anything. I'll use standard military LED tail-lights for the same reason, but I...
I recovered my MST7G trailer from a farmer's cow pasture.
I found it a couple of years ago, partially sunk into the ground with a bunch of junk stacked on it, and he finally agreed to sell it to me.
First, we got that big ol' pump off the box, then using various jacks and a lot of cribbing we...
Finally got the S788 shelter mounted onto my FHT.
The FHT is something of a mystery trailer. It has no data plates, and there are no signs that it ever had any.
I believe it was built by now-defunct Laguna Industries, because there are tiny stamps of their cage code on most of the individual...
For the enlightenment of those unfamiliar with the Austin we are referring to - the Austin K9, a truly lovely truck. Came in other versions as well (cargo, wrecker, ambulance, etc.)
Cheers
I wish I had bought more too.
I got used to buying M105s and M101s off Ft Hood for $125-$150. Pawnshop, Eric, and I splurged bigtime buying like-new M105A3s, which went for an exorbitant $260 apiece! (Somehow, I later ended up with all three ).
I thought M1102s and the CMT-F were...
It's pretty straightforward, with just a few mods needed. I'll do a complete write up on it, a separate thread, in the next couple of days, share the tidbits I learned.
Cheers
