    Space needed above transfer case?

    So several inches of framing or insulation after the air gap, and utilities above that? Doesn’t sound like it will be an issue to me…

    I am going to put my bedroom and utility/storage area over the transmission so I can remove bed and floor hatch to access the trans to do a swap if necessary. I don’t think they need much clearance in service. An inch would probably be OK, not sure how hot they get worst case, what is going...
