With a little down time from work , I had the original rims sandblasted and than primed and painted them at home. Dropped the rims off at a tire shop for new tires and swapped them with the ugly chrome rims that were on it.

Earlier in this discussion I said I found a old 5.56 blank round when I was moving the back seat. The primer had signs that it had been fired but just in case I soaked the round in penetrating oil for a few days. I than drilled it and a bit of time with some brasso I cleaned it up.
Pulled the top off so I can begin to repair the fiberglass roof, folded the rear seat up to really vacuum up the cargo area and found a 5.56 blank round in the floor recess for the back seat.

Pulled the old dash pad, replaced the instrument panel cover with one from EBay, and painted the dash to get it ready for the new dash pad, also took the ash tray and used the sandblast cabinet to remove 35 years of crud.
